Wear this dress 3 ways.
How Do You Wear It?
The voluminous dress was everywhere in the fall. Cecilie Bahnsen, the darling of Copenhagen fashion week and one of my favorite designers at the moment, consistently floods the runway with romantic yet minimal puffy dresses and separates and I seriously can’t get enough. Her pieces are simply drool worthy and I can’t wait to see what she does next.
Here Come the Dupes
Well, unsurprisingly, high street does what high street does and this past fall, Zara’s collection was filled with dupes that were minuscule in price compared to the designer versions which range anywhere from 1,000 euros to 2,500 euros depending on the style. Zara’s versions were retailing between $50 and $70 USD. I was obsessed with a tan version from Zara and I finally picked it up about two weeks before Thanksgiving…aka..before the infamous 30% sale. The dress was in the sale and I idiotically bought it for twice as much as I would have paid for it in the sale. But don’t fret my friends. I picked up the black version last month for only $12.99, regularly $50. So I definitely redeemed myself for overpaying for the tan one. In total, I own about 6 of these dresses from Zara in different styles, most of which were bought in the sale for $12.99. In celebration of my completely ridiculous excessive purchases, I decided to style this dress in several different ways to show the versatility of the dress. I know what you’re thinking. These dresses aren’t available anymore. But indeed, they are available. Zara has released this dress in new colors for spring and other high street brands like H&M, Mango, and & Other Stories, all have other versions of this dress available. It really is the perfect season-less dress with the switch of the heels. Today, I’m posting the first look of the three. Check out my IG for photos of other looks throughout the rest of the week.
